Baby Loves Nooks

Lil’ A likes to find little nooks and slide right in.

Two in particular… the first being between the dollhouse and the bookcase.

Just her size.

And between the bookcases in the living room.

And this day the kiddos were making forts and using couch cushions for all kinds of shenanigans. Girlie liked the little spot that that made on the couch without the cushion and she spent hours sitting in there ‘reading’ and playing. I think she liked it cause she could climb in and out by herself.

She’s the best. And I love her little stages!

Favorite Spot, Just Her Size

Lil’ A has a favorite spot.

And I have a favorite place to take her picture.

Hence, this post.

There. Now I won’t ever forget her cuteness climbing up into that seat (or standing on top!) of that table at this age.

Sweet N loves to make cards. She came by that honestly. It’s something she sees me do regularly. It’s extra special when she gets to sit at Mama’s card desk and use Mama’s special markers…

Little Scientist

I have a rather creative boy. One who is also pretty good at creating things out of stuff! Currently in our home we have a steam roller project happening because H found a cool roller wheel somewhere. And we also have a cardboard yogurt/applesauce dispenser machine in the works.

It’s serious work!

A few weeks ago H was in scientist mode. Putting on his white shirt, getting his notebook and supplies and building his own science tools.  I asked him to tell me about the photos I took…

“This is when I was kind of doing science or something.”

Ha ha! Indeed!

“This is where I was pretending to look at something through my microscope.”

Pretty good microscope, ifIdosaysomyself.

“I was pretending to look in space.”

Neat-o.

“This is when I was drawing what I think about space.”

I see a galaxy, the moon and stars! I guess he really was looking into space!
