He's Dressed!

A little boy proudly walked out of his bedroom having gotten himself completely dressed all alone. I didn’t ask him and I didn’t pick out his clothes. He even matches! He also brushed his teeth alone without me asking. Glory! Fourth kid: I have no idea when these things are supposed to happen anymore cause the last one always seems to stay small. But we rejoiced greatly over his independence this morning!

Basket Time

Morning reading (singing, studying, learning, creating) time is probably my favorite thing about Home Educating in my own style. With long school breaks for the younger two, it makes it more challenging, but I love it all the same. It’s usually messy and there are attitudes and impatience... but I generally ignore most if it and the richness and joy of all the materials we pick up still comes through. 💕📚
