Spring Photos

 I can't always keep up with current photos. I try! Here are a bunch from the spring!

Outside the church building on a Friday morning.

Dad took the kids to the corniche. Toss the ball, climb on rocks, taking in the view. Nice!

Janine and I took our older kids to Anafora for a night. I'd never been and wanted to see what it was like. The company was WONDERFUL. As was the scenery and the walks and the food and the rooms! But unfortunately, all three from my family got extreme allergic reactions to something. N especially, was so sick in the night! It was awful. Glad we tried, though!

Meanwhile, Mike had these two at home...

I showed West Side Story to the children. When the fighting scene started, B got a lot closer to the television and watched with rapt attention! He likes fighting, what can I say?

It's the time of year when we all go to see Dr Heidi! 

I decided to challenge him to a spelling test of the "100 most misspelled words". He did impressively well, and enjoyed it too!

Every year before we travel, we go to Wafflicious. It's always loud and too sweet and hard to order. Why do we do this? I guess cause the kids love it...

Mike and H had a special weekend retreat together in Fayoum and then skiing in 6 October.

The Fort

Sadly, I couldn’t share their joy in this giant fort cause I could only think of the clean-up. (Who has been there?!) 🙈🙈 But all 4 kids + Mama worked together (happily!) and it was actually very quick and easy to put it all away. I should have shared their joy!!

My Morning Walk

Many mornings, I take 6 minutes from my morning and walk one loop around our local club. It seems like a short time, but it’s long enough to take all the things I treasure most in life, and place them one by one into the hands of my loving heavenly Father. I fix my eyes on Him. I plead for help. I thank Him. Then I go home and get going on the work He has put before me. May my life be worship to Him. May my deep joy be found in Him.
