Throw Back

Well lookie here! I decided to put a couple old pics up here randomly today and it happens to be Thursday. So for the first time ever I am participating in throw-back Thursday.

:)

This is when we picked up Mikey’s tuxedo the day before our wedding. We were at the mall and I remember that I took the opportunity to eat a Cinna-bun ‘cause my wedding dress ended up being a bit loose.  Ha!

And a week later the last morning of our honeymoon. We woke up early to go watch the sunrise on the beach. Only then we realized that the beach did not actually face east. Made for a much more interesting memory than if we had actually been able to see the sunrise.

Ooooohhhh I like him so much!

Zoo Day in Full

The day after we drove to Ohio, we went to the Zoo with my whole fam.

My nephew was the first map checker.

Miss busy bee…

IMG_8317

We got to see the Cheetah Run… it was pretty cool! Crowded though, so the kiddos got balcony seats…

We borrowed a blessed wagon that has visited the zoo many times in years past. It was the preferred method of transportation for sure! As a kid I dreamed of riding in a wagon around the zoo. So happy to give my kids that fun experience.

IMG_8323

Okay maybe I took a turn too!  Little Niecey didn’t manage to move us an inch though.

Lil’ A fit perfectly in the trailer. She loved it in there. Just her size.

My boy H checking out the map.

IMG_8337

Lunch break while we saved a spot to see the lions.

IMG_8342

Matching shoesies.

IMG_8344

Saving a spot by the window paid off…

IMG_8349

They open the wall to this metal gate and hold meat through on tongs. The lions stretch out to get their snack.

IMG_8350

This guy wasn’t hungry. So he just chilled in the shade a few inches from us.

IMG_8351

Then he gave his lady friend a kiss when she walked by.

IMG_8352

IMG_8354

This one wasn’t a fan of us trying to get her to nap in the stroller. Eventually we took her out and she fell asleep in the Ergo Carrier in about 30 seconds flat. She’s definitely an Ergo baby!

IMG_8356

The elephants kissed too! So much love…

IMG_8359

IMG_8360

Neicey D liked to ride on her Mama’s back in the Ergo too.

IMG_8361

IMG_8408

This silly monkey was lying like this looking through the glass upsidedown when we walked up.

IMG_8378

My girlie wasted no time going straight over to him…

IMG_8380

And giving a big smooch through the glass! More lovin’!!

IMG_8381

The two with curls. :)

IMG_8385

D’s turn to check out the map!

IMG_8386

IMG_8390

Everyone took a turn (pushing at least, we decided Poppi was too big to ride).

IMG_8392

N was rather interested in the leaves she pulled off a bush.

IMG_8393

A’s turn with the map. Good thing she was near the end of the day cause she ate it and ripped it up. Oops.

IMG_8395

Of course we went to the big playground.

Ended with a train ride.

What a super day! No wonder it’s a top rated zoo in the country. And I have some top rated companions!

The Littlest

IMG_8442

This one has seriously kept us on our toes lately. We decided she’s much busier than our other kids were at this age (18 months). She’s constantly on the move and definitely shows us her own little (big?!) will.

But she’s so dang cute.

And this hair?!

IMG_8443

What’s up with these curls? Her Daddy has curls and her Mama has some strawberry in her blonde. Put them together and I guess this is what you get!
