We’ve spent two nights in our home without our lights. We have chosen to keep them off and use candlelight as a reminder that The Light went out of the world on Good Friday. But tomorrow, Light Himself will be risen from the dead! And He will Reign forevermore. - This year I feel more deeply aware of my need for a Savior. I am unable to put to death my sinful nature, as hard as I try to be good all the time, I fail again and again. - And so as we stumble around in the darkness of our home (literally) it sinks deep in my heart that I am truly lost without One to show me the way. - But this darkness is temporary. The price for our sins has been paid. Tomorrow, death will be conquered and Light will return.
