My first two kiddos LOVED their pacifiers.
Lil’ A refused to ever take one, sucked her thumb shortly, switched to two fingers and then quit cold-turkey, all by herself, at 11 months of age. What baby does that?! I was sooo thankful.
Mister B took a pacifier a lot when he was newborn. Slowly he’s favoring his fingers though, oh no! I much prefer a pacifier because it can be taken away (however awful that process is). I got lucky with A because she broke herself of her finger habit before I even planned to.
Well.
Mister B is making quite a habit of this finger sucking thing. I’m scared to break him of it later, but I’m loving the convenience for now.
So it seems I have two paci babies (‘bice’ and ‘tooker’, actually), and two finger babies. Two and two.
Now I present WAY too many photos of my sweet boy with various fingers in his mouth over the past five months…
