Edfu Temple and Arrival in Luxor (Aswan and Luxor Part 4)

After our last night in this 'hotel', we drug our luggage down to the narrow street to load up our car.

Parking on this street was  interesting, to say the least. We may have left some marks on our car...

We hit the road. And it basically looked like this for a few hours. It is the desert, after all.

We arrived at our destination... Edfu Temple!

It is the most well preserved ancient temple. I can testify to that. Sadly, it's not on the tourist loop much anymore (not sure why) and it was pretty much just us.

They opened up the movie room and fired up the video just for us. We learned so much.

We did spend some time checking our shoes before the walk to the temple after the movie.

It's remarkable how much the kids could explore and climb.

Whew, exploring is exhausting.

Once we let a hundred flies join our family in the car, we took off to finish our journey to Luxor.

I love watching out the windows on adventures. So much to see.

Car treats! It's not an Oreo. It's a Forio!

We reached our hotel and I was overjoyed at how lovely it was. Happy to be in Luxor!
