Swimming, Sunset, Ice Cream (Aswan and Luxor Part 10)

The afternoon and evening after The Valley of the Kings and Carter's House we just wanted to relax at the hotel.

But first, food! We ate from a lot of road-side stand food during this trip. And we loved it!

We love this pool! And A was happy to pracice her floating. She's a GREAT floater! (Like her Mama.)

Then up for baths and rest. And calling between our rooms (they won't allow a family of six to get only one room.) I remember how fun this was as a kid!

Mike really wanted to watch a sunset on the Nile. So down we went. I didn't get tired of walking through this terraced garden on the bank of the Nile.

And then the beautiful sunset...

Then, we decided to find a German Ice Cream shop we saw online...

Horse cart is a pretty easy way to get back and forth to the city center.

Then we walked for quite awhile because we struggled to find the place...

And then we found it.

And it didn't disappoint. Handmade ice creams by a German couple. Even dairy-free!

And then back on a horse cart to get back to the hotel.

That was a full day.

Loved it.
