While we were traveling (and had little or no internet)… our extended family grew by two feet!! It was hard to be so cut off at that time. We were making calls on our north Africa cell phones from South Africa to Mike’s Mom’s cell phone in the States to get updates on baby’s arrival! Yikes!
The gender was a surprise to all, and I was dying to know…
Fresh into the world… it’s a….
GIRL!! Pink booties and hat… whooo-hoooo!! She’s called Emersyn, and I think it’s a beautiful name.
Emersyn has a loving big brother, only sixteen months older!
Love them.

And very proud grandparents… for the forth time in five years.
I didn’t expect it to take long before some ribbons and bows made their way onto the sweet girlie. I was right!

It’s hard to be so far away at time like this. I took some photos of the kids meeting the baby on Skype, but I don’t know what happened to them. All these photos were snagged off Facebook. How badly I wish I had some of my own.
