4:41am

One of my children stirred at 4:41am. I stumbled out of bed to walk down the hall and discovered that it was already light outside.

At 4:41am.



Later I checked online and official sunrise is at 5:01. But the sun coming close to the horizon over the Persian Gulf was enough to light up the whole place long before that.



And people were already out and about. WHAT? Who are you people, and where could you possibly be going at 4:41am? Go back to bed!!



At least everyone had enough sense to not be swimming or sunbathing at 4:41am. But it did seem like a good time to clean the pool...

Okay. That was enough picture taking. I nuzzled back into my feather pillow and duvet. Until 5:53 when someone stirred again...
