Portraits by Atalie

Before we left Ohio a friend volunteered to come out and brave portrait taking with our family. It’s not easy to take portraits when your family includes:

A. A tiny little firecracker (with a scraped nose to prove it) who has her own ideas of what she would and would not like to do at any given moment and you're just plain lucky if her ideas ever line up with yours.

B. A small boy who often screams and looks in the opposite direction if a camera is pointed at him for more than five seconds.

C. A grown man who is just not that crazy about trying to get tiny firecracker and small boy to be photogenic while enduring the 'pain' (wives, you understand, right?) of family portraits in the first place.

Yes, our photographer was so brave!

And she did wonderfully at capturing some great moments, despite the immense challenges she faced! We were so thankful for her willingness and generosity to practice on us.

Here are just a handful of my favorites, along with the one you see on my blog sidebar...

You can check out Atalie's page here. If you’re in Ohio… maybe she’s the photographer you’ve been looking for! I'd OBVIOUSLY highly recommend her!

  1. These turned out so nice! I contacted Atalie last week, but haven't heard back from her. Maybe we'll be some of her next clients!
